Hi,

when I create a new user in LD, he does not appear at first in Dokuwiki's user list. An unpleasant consequence is that the user can not log from the Dokuwiki login form, it only works from the general LD login form.

This is really inconvenient, because if I go directly to a prorected wiki page, the "login" link is a link to Dokuwiki login form.

Note that this is fixed as soon as I edit the roles of the user (actually, any user). But it would be great if it happened automatically.

A few weeks back, I set up a bbpress forum just to have a look. Today, I see that several spammer accounts have been created on that forum, having already created several topics and posts.

Beyond the trouble of getting bbpress spammed, I'm concerned that those new accounts automatically got some priviledges on other services installed on ladistribution (e.g. a dokuwiki).

So I think it is important that the registration form in bbpress could be disabled. And I suggest to make this the default setting when installing a bbpress in ladistribution.

(le plus déprimant, c'est que j'ai une instance installée juste à coté qui tourne, mais je souhaitais maintenant mettre LD à la racine de mon site ;-( )

J'ai récupéré l'installer.php de l'instance qui marche; j'ai ensuite ré-essayer en le prenant directement sur le github, pour être sûr d'en avoir un bien à jour.

Pour info, phpinfo me dit bien que gettext est 'enabled' :-( (c'est du PHP 5.2).

I had a problem when renaming an application (bbPress, but I assume this is application-independent) with accented characters.

* I had an application named 'old_name'
* I tries to rename it to 'néw_name'
* I got an error "invalid URL"
* but the folder of the application has been renamed to 'néw_name'

* From now, the application does not appear in the menu or the slotter
* If I try to re-create the same application with 'old_name', I get an error "application is already installed"
* If I try to rename the folder to 'old_name', then the slotter of the LD menu-bar have errors, complaining about not finding 'néw_name'

NB: this is not a critical issue for me; I was using a test instance of LD that I can wipe out; but I think this bug deserves fixing at some point :)

I'm using the 'europe' distribution of LD, and my site is up-to-date.

I recently tried to install on my Ladistribution NAS freenas 7.

The big worry is that during installation, the installer can't make the connection with GZip function (folders are created correctly, normally fetch files etc ...)

I get only an error message "Gzip functions are not available."
How to make the installer link to allow the installation to be, and that the modules function properly afterwards?

j'aimerais créer plusieurs dokuwikis privés réservés à *certains* de mes utilisateurs.

Or, comme je le vois pour l'instant, le rôle "minimal" d'un utilisateur pour un dokuwiki est 'User'.

J'aimerais bien avoir un rôle 'None' ou 'Unauthorized', de sorte que tous mes utilisateurs ne voient pas tous mes wikis.

De plus, j'aimerais bien que mes utilisateurs ne *voient pas* les wikis dont ils ne sont pas membres dans la liste des applications disponibles...

Je sors peut-être un peu du cas d'utilisation standard de ladistribution... Évidemment, je pourrais installer une instance de LD par wiki, chacun avec sa base d'utilisateurs. Mais cela me ferait autant de bases d'utilisateurs différentes à gérer, répéter les mises à jour pour chaque instance, etc...

La Distribution looks absolutely fantastic. I am trying to test it with a hébergement mutualisé at OVH (set with php 5.3) and I am getting strange behaviour:

- Firefox refuses to recognise La Distribution credentials for Firefox sync. I tried on several machines, don't know what to do.
- Wordpress: maybe I am missing something. The first install screen is a La Distribution screen ("Add an application") which includes a selector for the WP admin among the LD users. Then the next screen is from the WP install and also asks for an admin name. So I put one. Then after the install it is not possible to log in with another user than the one created during the WP install process. WP users' list has only one user, the one I created for install. So what about single sign-on? However, if I go back to the LD "Settings for WordPress" page, I get this:

So I guess there is something wrong in my install. But what?

J'essaie d'installer la distribution, mais sans succès.
J'ai un PHP 5.2.14, mod_rewite chargé et j'ai mis installer.php dans un sous-domaine.
L'installation démarre pendant 20 secondes et se termine sans un seul message, par un écran blanc.
J'ai activé :
define('LD_DEBUG', true);
define('LD_LOCALE', 'fr_FR');
define('LD_RELEASE', 'europe');

Mais je ne sais où retrouver les infos de debug
et /shared ne contient pas les locale.

Il semble que l'execution ne va pas plus loin que : out('Essentials libraries loaded');

Pas spécialiste de php, merci pour toute info pour cette install.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to install this application (ladistribution) in multiple directories from a single directory using symlinks.
i.e. from /srv/ladistribution make symlinks into /var/www/username and /var/www/username2
I am responsible of a mass-hosting service where this would facilitate my users experience using this tool.
My issue is that zend seems to detect the origin directory (in this example /srv/ladistribution) as the "home" and creates it's files in there (for example dist/users.json).
Is there a way to tell zend that it's home is in /var/www/username?

After installation with the la distribution installer.php.
Trying to open the admin page, the url is showing http://my site.org/slotter.
But there are no folder named slotter in the installation.
