Here have the end of my weave log (the begining exactly looks like yourse).. By the way, the JSON exception does not look good:

Idle timer created for sync, will sync after 1 seconds of inactivity.
GET success 200 http://DOMAIN/PATH/ld2/firefox-sync/1.0/USER/info/collections?v=1.3

If you display the URL in your browser, what's the content?

http://DOMAIN/PATH/ld2/firefox-sync/1.0/USER/info/collections?v=1.3

The weird thing is that, in my tests, i don't see any "collections?v=1.3" in logs, only "collections". Feel free to send me complete logs by email if needed.

Also, in case we need to continue working on this issue, maybe an account on an LD installation (where i can reproduce the problem myself) will help speed up resolution.

Youhou !!!
After a bunch of hacks and based on François's private comments, I finally solved my problem: the PUT command was disabled on my apache server...

I still have to manually insert my unix_socket in the PDO connect in weave_storage/mysql.php and weave_user/mysql.php but everything is fine know..

weave_user/mysql.php is not used in La Distribution. for weave_storage/mysql.php, maybe it would be better with an .htaccess based hack? It would be better to not have to worry hacking your files after every update.

I agree but the htaccess hack does not work..
BTW, I have created a patch I have to apply after every upgrade ;)

I may have further questions about FFSync and SSL/passphrase but I think I will start a new thread..
